Lyrics and Music by Roy Braverman

We've all got something to learn from Christmas
Something I'm sure that we all know
We've all got something to learn from Christmas
That's how to let our good side show

All the troubles through the year
Suddenly they disappear
For only good thoughts, of only good times

We all need someone to love for Christmas
Someone to wrap a present for
We all need someone to love for Christmas
We can't be lonely anymore

Sitting by the fireside
Dreaming of a cold sleighride
With only good thoughts, of only good times
All the sorrow in our heart
That kept us all so far apart
Suddenly it brings us close together

(solo)

Underneath the mistletoe
Letting one another know

We've all got something to learn from Christmas
We all need someone to love for Christmas

ABOUT THE SONG
I wrote this song many, many years ago ...
when a Jewish boy (me) fell in love with a Catholic girl (my first wife).
I experienced serious Christmastime with her Italian family!
I began to think about all the nice, fun things people do at Christmas ...
and wondered why people couldn't be that way all year?

I've recorded a few versions of this song over the years, with different singers.
None quite had the spark ... until Rob Trow added his touch!
Rob trimmed the song like a Christmas tree ...
adding all the ornaments and the much needed star!
